These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Verso Spaces website at versospa and the engagement of our interior design services. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
By visiting our website or entering into a service agreement with Verso Spaces, you agree to the terms set out below. If anything here is unclear, you are welcome to contact us before proceeding.

1. About Us
Verso Spaces is an interior design studio based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Our registered address is 5 Jalan Dungun, Bukit Damansara, 50490 Kuala Lumpur. You may reach us at +60 3-2091 7548 or info@versospa.
2. Our Services
Verso Spaces provides three principal service offerings:
Unfolding Consultation — MYR 470
An initial exploratory session including a site visit, spatial analysis, and mood direction document. Completed within one week.
Dimensional Design Service — MYR 3,200
A complete design package covering spatial planning, material selection, lighting design, colour strategy, 3D renders, and a contractor-ready package. Includes two revision phases. Timeline: 6–9 weeks.
Assembly & Finishing — MYR 1,650
Renovation support including contractor coordination, material procurement, site monitoring, and a final furniture arrangement session. Duration: 8–14 weeks.
The scope and timeline of each service will be defined in a written engagement summary provided before work commences.
3. Service Engagements
A service engagement begins when both parties have confirmed the scope, timeline, and fees in writing — whether by email, signed agreement, or equivalent digital confirmation.
We will make reasonable efforts to adhere to agreed timelines. Delays arising from circumstances beyond our control — including contractor schedules, material availability, or site access issues — will be communicated promptly.
Changes to the agreed scope requested after commencement may affect both the timeline and the fee structure, and will be discussed openly before any additional work is undertaken.
4. Fees and Payment
All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and are inclusive of GST where applicable. A deposit of 50% is required before work begins. The remaining balance is payable upon delivery of the final deliverables, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Payment may be made by bank transfer, online banking, or any method we confirm in writing. Invoices are due within seven (7) days of issue unless stated otherwise.
Prices listed on our website are indicative. Final fees for your project will be confirmed in writing after an initial consultation, based on scope and complexity.
5. Revisions and Changes
The Dimensional Design Service includes two structured revision phases as described in the service scope. Additional revisions beyond this may be accommodated subject to availability and applicable fees, which will be discussed with you in advance.
Revisions requested as a result of a change in your brief or preferences, rather than an error on our part, may be considered scope additions.
6. Intellectual Property
All design concepts, drawings, renders, mood boards, and documentation produced by Verso Spaces remain our intellectual property until full payment has been received.
Upon full settlement, you receive a licence to use these materials for the specific property and purpose outlined in the engagement. The designs may not be reproduced, resold, or adapted for other projects without our written consent.
We may photograph completed projects for our portfolio with your permission. We will ask separately and respect your preference.
7. Client Responsibilities
To allow us to work effectively, we ask that you:
- Provide accurate information about your property, preferences, and budget.
- Respond to requests for feedback or decisions within an agreed timeframe.
- Grant reasonable access to the property at scheduled times.
- Ensure that any third parties involved in your project (e.g. landlords, management offices) have given the necessary approvals for the proposed works.
Delays caused by unavailability of information, access, or approvals on the client's side may affect project timelines.
8. Limitation of Liability
Verso Spaces will carry out work with reasonable professional care and diligence. Our liability for any loss or damage arising from our services is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in which the issue arose.
We are not responsible for defects, delays, or cost overruns caused by third-party contractors, suppliers, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or for personal injury caused by our negligence.
9. Termination
Either party may end an engagement by providing written notice. Where a client chooses to stop a project after work has commenced, fees for work completed to that point will be payable. The initial deposit is non-refundable once the site visit or design work has begun.
If we are unable to continue a project for reasons on our side, we will provide reasonable notice, assist with handover, and refund any fees for work not yet delivered.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
11. Website Use
Our website is provided for informational purposes. The content is maintained to the best of our ability but we do not warrant that it is complete, current, or free of error at all times.
You may not use our website in any manner that is unlawful, disruptive, or harmful to others. Unauthorised reproduction of our content is not permitted.
We reserve the right to update these terms from time to time. Changes will take effect from the date they are published on this page.
